The methodology behind the 2026 rankings relies on an assessment of over 3,000 publicly listed firms. To qualify, organizations were required to have been public since 2020, maintain profitability in the 2025 fiscal year, and report a minimum revenue of $100 million. By analyzing revenue, earnings per share, and market penetration, researchers calculated a compound annual growth rate to determine overall stability and performance.
Beyond raw financial data, the project incorporated a rigorous integrity filter. Using the media monitoring platform Critical Mention, analysts screened for corporate wrongdoing reported between May 2024 and May 2026, including DOJ and SEC investigations, indictments, or penalties. Companies implicated in such regulatory infractions were disqualified, regardless of their financial growth, to ensure the final selection reflects entities that balanced expansion with operational compliance.
