Attorney General Raul Torrez characterized the judgment as a necessary intervention to hold a major technology firm accountable for practices that endanger young users.

Meta spokesperson Andy Stone stated that the company disputes the ruling and intends to launch an appeal. Meta maintains that its current safety protocols and efforts to remove harmful content are robust, arguing that the court’s decision misrepresents its ongoing initiatives to protect minors online.
